A gutter refers to the recessed section between the two sides of a building’s roof. Roof drainage can be categorized into organized drainage and unorganized drainage (free drainage). Organized drainage typically involves collecting rainwater in gutters and then discharging it through downspouts; the channels that collect rainwater are called gutters. Gutters are classified into internal and external gutters.
